On a wide but shallow hillside lot in Laguna Beach, Vista Mar presented both a challenge and an opportunity. The goal was clear: to create a home defined by its breathtaking coastal views.

The design begins with an intentionally compressed entry, heightening the moment of arrival as the eye is drawn directly to the ocean beyond. From there, an open, two-story floor plan unfolds, ensuring that nearly every space — from the main living areas to the covered pool deck — maintains a direct connection to the sea.

The result is a residence that balances intimacy with expansiveness, seamlessly blending protected interior spaces with generous outdoor rooms. Vista Mar embodies a true California spirit of modern living, where architecture and landscape converge in a life oriented toward the horizon.
